Description
When you click on a Glympse link to view it on a desktop or laptop device, the browser opens but the Glympse page does not load, is blank, or the map with the sender's location does not load.
Possible Causes and Solutions
The most common cause of this behavior is that a browser plug-in or add-on is actively blocking the Glympse web service calls needed to display the live Glympse map. You can reference a list of problematic Firefox plug-ins here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions.
To resolve a conflict between a browser plug-in and Glympse, try disabling any plug-ins and viewing the Glympse again. If the Glympse loads correctly with the plug-ins disabled, you can try adding glympse.com to the list of approved or trusted sites. Check your browser or plug-in help section for information on how to do this.
If disabling browser plug-ins does not resolve the issue, check to make sure that you are running the latest version of Flash and Java and also check to make sure that Javascript is not disabled in the browser. You can confirm that you have the latest Flash and Java versions installed using the links below:
Verify latest Java: http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
Verify latest Flash: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
If, however, none of these steps help to resolve your problem, do not hesitate to send a support request to our team. Be sure to include as many details as possible including your OS version, browser version, and the Glympse link you are attempting to view.
