To ensure that you are correctly and continually sharing your location, there are a few permissions that Glympse requires. When you initially downloaded Glympse, the app should have requested permissions to several items on your device, but in the event that permissions were not given correctly, or if they change at any point, please check the following items to ensure they are set as listed below.
1. On your Android device (6.0 and below), open the Settings menu. Scroll to the Device tab along the top of the screen, navigate to Applications, then Application manager, and select Glympse. The permissions section should list Calendar, Contacts, Location, Phone, SMS, and Storage.
2. Next, from the main settings screen again, scroll to the System tab along the top, and find battery. Ensure that power saving mode is turned off.
