While Glympse works great utilizing the native messaging app on iOS and Android devices, you also have the ability to send push notifications on a regular basis between Glympse Users without the need for a text message. First, you must request location and receive location from another phone, following the steps below.
From iPhone A, send a Request Location via text message to iPhone B. iPhone B receives the text message request for location, taps on the request URL and shares from within the Glympse App. Once that process occurs, each user then shows as a Glympse User within the contacts of the app.
To verify the other user now shows as a Glympse User, tap to share your location by either using the 'G' on the map or by choosing Share Location from the menu. You will then see your most recently sent Glympses, and anyone that you have requested and shared with will be listed as a Glympse User.
